The Saucony Guide 16 is like an update to the excellent 15th generation, which made its name through low weight and a highly dynamic new shape.

The PWRRUN foam sole has not changed at all.

The very soft PWRRUN+ foam insole has also been left unchanged, delivering pleasant cushioning right under the foot.

This model is still an excellent shoe for the long run.

Its qualities also invite you to put in faster sessions.

The strategically placed tread rubber has kept its shape.

On the inner side, at the level of the arch, the sole has been thickened to limit overpronation.

The upper has changed the most. It ventilates better and has more reflective detailing.

The tongue has been thickened and given a new shape. The shoe itself sits better against the instep.
