The Brooks Cascadia 20 is men's trail running footwear created for those who value safety and comfort on diverse trails. This model performs exceptionally well on forest paths, gravel roads, and more difficult, rocky, and root-filled mountain routes. The twentieth edition of this popular shoe brings improvements that elevate the level of protection and stability, proving itself on both shorter training sessions and during multi-hour ultra runs.

The outer part of the shoe is based on a breathable Air Mesh that guarantees proper air circulation during intense effort. To protect the foot from striking obstacles on the trail, the construction is equipped with a special TPU rim and a mudguard. Additional durability and stabilization are provided by reinforcements applied using 3D printing technology, allowing the upper to hold the foot securely while maintaining the necessary flexibility.

Compared to previous iterations, the manufacturer decided to raise the midsole by four millimeters, which significantly improves isolation from uneven ground. The innovative nitrogen-infused DNA FLASH v2 foam is responsible for resilient and very light cushioning. It works in tandem with the TrailAdapt system, which combines a wide platform with flexible sole zones. This solution facilitates the natural adaptation of the foot to the shape of the terrain and ensures exceptional control on descents and technically difficult sections.

On the bottom of the shoe is an outsole made of a special Vibram Megagrip rubber blend. Combined with Traction Lug technology and four-millimeter tread lugs, this system offers reliable grip. The shoes maintain excellent traction regardless of whether the trail is dry and hard or covered with wet rocks, mud, or loose ground.
