The Mizuno Wave Daichi is a trail running shoe.
The construction is characteristic of Mizuno: the famous Wave plate sits in the sole, absorbing a great deal of shock and making the transition feel remarkably natural and smooth.
The sole structure also contains AP+ foam, which works with the plate to build a secure, highly cushioned shoe. The tread pattern typical of trail shoes, built from the XtaRide system and Michelin rubber, delivers outstanding traction on climbs and descents. The upper adapts to the foot through DynamotionFit, which works with Airmesh to keep the foot's temperature in check.
Being trail shoes, they are reinforced accordingly at both the front and the rear.
