The upper of this model is made of a modern technical mesh with varying weave density, ensuring optimal air circulation. The material smoothly adapts to the natural shape of the foot, while a padded collar around the ankle and an integrated tongue elevate the overall level of stability. Additionally, a rigid heel counter effectively holds the heel in place, preventing unwanted movements while running.
The heart of the shoe is the midsole based on the upgraded PWRRUN+ foam. Eighteen percent more of this material was used compared to previous editions, which translates into a higher energy return and even better shock reduction. Despite the rich cushioning, the footwear maintains a low weight hovering around 220 grams. The eight-millimeter drop between the heel and toes facilitates a smooth foot transition and supports a natural running technique.
The outsole has been widened, providing a better base and stability upon landing. It is protected by abrasion-resistant rubber in the most critical areas. Appropriately placed flexible grooves in the front part of the bottom facilitate a smooth toe-off and cooperate with the natural movement of the foot on paved surfaces.
