Saucony Ride TR 2 (women's)

The Saucony Ride TR 2 is a variant of the classic training shoe modelled on the Ride 17 but fitted with an outsole from the trail range. The ideal answer when your training takes you across varied surfaces. If you run in town and sometimes fancy heading into the woods, or you do not want to give up running through autumn and winter for safety reasons (grip problems), the Saucony Ride TR 2 will be the right choice for you.

The most important change in this model compared with the classic version is a grippier outsole rubber with an aggressive tread across the whole outsole.

The upper of the Saucony Ride TR 2 is still the same brilliantly ventilated MESH, now with added rubberised elements that improve how the shoe holds the foot. Thermal comfort also comes from an improved tongue that manages moisture better. In the standard version the upper sits well on a standard-width foot. For a wide foot we recommend the WIDE version.

In short, we recommend the Saucony Ride TR 2 for regular training and long runs on varied ground. The cushioning will do its job well for runners up to 90 kg.
